May: Yes, I have a complaint to make.
Salesclerk: What’s the problem?
May: I bought this skirt in your store last week. What a famous brand is that! The stitches are coming off. Anyway, I’d like to ask for a refund for this skirt.
Salesclerk: I’m sorry. They are not refundable. But we can exchange it for you, OK?

感嘆句
感嘆句一般是用來表示說話時的喜悅、驚訝等情感。英語感嘆句常用“what”和“how”引導，句子其它部分用陳述句語序。
1.“what”引導的感嘆句what +(a/ an)+ adj. +n. +主語+謂語+(it is).
“what”意為”多么“,用來修飾名詞(被強調部分)，單數可數名詞前要加a/an，例如：
What a clever girl May is!多么聰明的阿美呀!
What a funny story it is! 多么有趣的故事呀!
What good children they are!他們是多么好的孩子呀!
2.“how”引導的感嘆句How+adj.(adv.)+主語+謂語+( it is ).
“how”意為“多么”，修飾形容詞或副詞(被強調部分)。如果修飾形容詞，則句中的謂語動詞用系動詞;如果修飾副詞，則句中的謂語動詞用行為動詞，例如：
How cold it is today! 今天多冷呀!
How well May writes! 阿美寫得多好呀
How hard they are working now! 他們現在干得多么起勁呀!
3.在表示同一意義時，既可用“what”引導，也可用“how”引導
What a hot day it is! How hot a day is! 多么熱的天氣呀!
What a beautiful sunshine it is! How beautiful the sunshine is!多么明亮的陽光呀!
4.感嘆句在表示激動強烈的感情時，口語中常常省略后面的主語和謂語
What red apples! 多么紅的蘋果呀!
