如果我……
Weak is he who permits his thoughts to control his actions; strong is he who forces his actions to control his thoughts.
弱者任思緒控制行為,強者讓行控制思緒。
Each day, when I awaken, I will follow this plan of battle before I am captured by the forces of sadness, self-pity and failure-

If I feel sad I will laugh.

If I feel inferior I will wear new garments.
自卑時,我換上新裝。
If I feel uncertain I will raise my voice.
不安時,我提高嗓聲。
If I feel poverty I will think of wealth to come.
窮困潦倒時,我想象未來的富有。
If I feel incompetent I will remember past success.
力不從心時,我回想過去的成功。
If I feel insignificant I will remember my goals.
自輕自賤時,我想想自己的目標(biāo)。
If I become overconfident I will recall my failures.
自高自大時,我要追尋失敗的記憶。
If I overindulge I will think of past hungers.
縱情得意時,我要記得挨餓的日子。
If I feel complacency I will remember my competition.
洋洋得意時,我要想想競爭的對手。
If I enjoy moments of greatness I will remember moments of shame.
沾沾自喜時,不要忘了那忍辱的時刻。
If I feel all-powerful I will try to stop the wind.
自以為是時,看看自己能否讓步駐步。
If I attain great wealth I will remember>腰纏萬貫時,想想那些食不果腹的人。
If l become overly proud I will remember a moment of weakness.
驕傲自滿時,要想到自己怯懦的時候。
If I feel my skill is unmatched I will look at the stars.
不可一世時,讓我抬頭,仰望群星。
