在7月23日舉行的國務院聯防聯控機制新聞發布會上，我國首次報告了新冠疫苗接種后的不良反應，其中一般反應占比81.29%，每一百萬人的發生率為57.27;異常反應占比5.47%，每一百萬人發生率3.85。

值得注意的是，數據特別提到偶合癥的占比達9.89%，每一百萬人的發生率為6.97;心因性反應占2.42%，每100萬人發生率為1.7;另有4例懷疑接種差錯，包括違反禁忌接種2例，未簽署知情同意書、3天內接種2劑次。

所謂的“偶合癥”也稱為偶合反應。中國科學院院士、解放軍總醫院第五醫學中心感染病醫學部主任王福生解釋稱：“偶合反應是說疫苗接種者正好處于某個疾病的發病潛伏階段或者發病前期，接種疫苗后疾病巧合發生，這與疫苗接種本身是沒有關系的。”

他舉例稱，例如某人正處于乙肝病毒感染的潛伏期，在接種了新冠疫苗后發生了肝炎，就屬于“偶合反應”。

王福生特別呼吁，不要因為時間上的巧合，而把無關疾病歸因于新冠疫苗的接種。“我國人口基數大，每天大量的住院和死亡，死亡每天就有約2萬人。”王福生說，“在大規模疫苗接種的過程中，發生各種偶合反應是必然的，要有一個清晰的認識。”

偶合反應并非無法區分。王福生表示，通過臨床的診斷是可以鑒別出來的。他還表示，對于所有疫苗接種，我國都有不良事件的監測系統，而且對于新冠疫苗接種不良事件的處置是及時、科學的。

也有專家指出，要區分是否屬于偶合反應的難度很大，因為并不是所有的偶合反應都是通過診斷來鑒別的。“這主要是取決于與什么疾病偶合發生。”一位疫苗專家對第一財經記者表示，“如果是病毒感染，那么是可以通過檢測;但是如果是癌癥，癌癥是什么時候發展出來，除非你一直去醫院驗血，否則是很難把握癌癥進展時機的，而且每個人的疾病進展情況也不一樣。”他補充道，針對這些問題仍然需要在實驗室進行進一步的研究證實。

上述專家還表示，要研究疫苗是否會引發某些疾病，也是相當復雜的，還需要搞清楚是直接的因果關系還是相關性的問題，或者僅僅是巧合而已，這需要大量的研究論證。

“我們也對偶合癥建立了一整套的機制，當懷疑異常或者疑似不良反應時，會請專家會診，最后判定是否為偶合反應，如果確實與疫苗接種相關，國家也有完善的補償機制。”王福生說。

此外，關于心因性反應，也就是俗稱的“心理作用”，主要是指受疫苗接種的心理因素影響，例如疑病，而表現出的身體癥狀(軀體化障礙)。對此，第一財經記者了解到，目前上海的疫苗接種專家組就專門納入了心理疏導專家，提供心理疏導方案，也可以針對個案進行評估咨詢，形成一種較為有效的機制。
