Keep the imagination under control;sometimes correcting ,sometimes assisting it. For it is all-important for our happiness, and even sets the reason right.

It can tyrannize, and is not content with looking on, but influences and even often dominates life, causing it to be happy or burdensome according to the folly to which it leads.

想象力像一個暴君，它不會滿足于僅僅成為一個旁觀者，而會向我們的生活施加影響，甚至完全主宰生活，至于它造成的后果是讓人幸?？鞓愤€是痛苦壓抑，那就取決于想象力飛向哪里了。
