due to，owing to

在標(biāo)準(zhǔn)英語(yǔ)里，due to只能用以引導(dǎo)形容詞短語(yǔ)，不可引導(dǎo)副詞短語(yǔ)。例如：

Our delay was due to heavy traffic.

Mistakes due to carelessness may have serious consequences.
