【動詞do 的用法】

動詞do 可以用作實意動詞和助動詞。在英語中是最重要的常用動詞之一。do 作為實意動詞，在句中作謂語，意思是“做”，“干”，“實行”“制作”當主語是單數第三人稱時，do 寫成does.例如：

We do homework everyday.

我們每天做作業。

We have nothing to do this morning.

今天早上我們沒事干。

He does it very well.

他做地很好。

Do 作為助動詞，用于構成疑問句，否定句。例如：

I’m sorry.I don’t know.

對不起，我不知道。

Do you speak English?

你講英語嗎？

Does she have a watch?

她有手表嗎？

【What does he do?】

What does he do?他是干什么工作的？

這是一句詢問對方職業身份的句型。也可以用"What is …?"來提問。例如：

"What do you do?""I’m a teacher."

“你是干什么工作的？”“我是一名教師。”

"What does she do?""She is a worker."

“她是干什么的？”“她是一個工人。”

"What is your father?""My father is a farmer."

“你父親是干什么的？”“我父親是農民。”

句中的have 表示“擁有”，have 的單數第三人稱是has,它是指某一物體擁有的組成部分。而"There is …in…."則指“在某處有某物。”，含義不同。例如：

My desk has four legs.

我的桌子有四條腿。

There are many trees in our school.

我們學校有好多樹。

A place called …叫做…的地方。這是一個由“過去分詞+名詞”作定語的短語。Called 可由named 來代替。例如：
