affair n. /event n. /incident n.

affair的意思是“有關的事，事務，活動等”，如foreign affairs(外事)，也常指婚外戀;event指“每日里發生的事件，事或活動，比賽項目”;incident同event意思相近，指“事件，事”，尤指較重大的、有影響的政治事件等。
