A Chinese pop singer, best known for his campus ballads, faces prison after he was caught drunken driving on Monday night in Beijing, police said on Tuesday。

北京警方本周二稱，知名校園民謠音樂人高曉松醉駕，將被追究刑事責任。

文中的drunken driving就是指“醉駕”，比“DUI”(driving under the influence，酒駕)的情節更嚴重，更容易引發交通事故?！熬岂{”也可以用driving while intoxicated來表示。為了避免此類事故，喝了酒的司機可以尋求designated driving service(代駕服務)，請designated driver(代駕司機)為自己開車。

交警在檢查時，要對司機進行breath alcohol test(酒精呼氣測試)，必要時還需進行blood test(血液檢測)。有些司機在出現交通事故后hit-and-run(肇事逃逸)。對于這些行為，必須要實行zero tolerance(零容忍)。
