Drama queen refers to people (mostly girls - but boys play their part) who turn something unimportant into a major deal, or who blow things way out of proportion whenever the chance is given because they either: a) want to seek attention; b) have some emotional dysfunction and it’s their duty to make life harder for everyone around them; c) just simply can’t get over it.

Drama queen(字面意思為“戲劇女王”)指那些(多為女性，不過(guò)也不排除男性)喜歡小題大做，一有機(jī)會(huì)就興風(fēng)作浪、夸大事態(tài)的人。他們這樣做的原因有：想獲得關(guān)注;情緒失控，就想鬧得周圍的人不得安寧;或者就是習(xí)慣這樣，改不了。

由此，我們可以把drama queen譯作“沒(méi)事兒找事兒的人”或者“事兒媽”。
