與錢有關的最常見的一個短語就是pay off sth(還錢、付清債務等)。
例句：I’m hoping to pay off the debt within two years. 我希望兩年內能還清債務。
fork out sth 不情愿地花了一大筆錢
對于花錢來說，如果你花了一大筆錢，尤其是“不情愿地”花了一大筆錢，可以用一個非正式的短語fork out sth(尤指不情愿地付錢)。
