I know only too well

（我知道得很清楚。）

用only too來強調know，表示知道得非常徹底。only too表示非常，很的意思，但在語氣上比only too程度強，又表示太過了的含義，所以有時候會有故意說反話的含義。

對話一：

A:I’m sorry you failed the test.

（你考試沒通過，我很遺憾。）

B:I’m just so upset with myself.

（我真生我自己的氣。）

A：I know only too well how you feel.

（我很了解你現在的心情。）

B：You do?

（你知道？）
