發音要領:
這一對元音的關鍵是要把嘴唇攏小收圓,同時在發音的時候又要防止雙唇阻礙氣流泄出,也就是要防止加進一個輔音[w]。還需要注意的是[u:] 和 [u]不僅僅存在長短的差別,更重要的還有音調高低的差別,[u:]音調低,音程長,[u]音調高,音程短。
[u:]:舌身后縮,舌后部盡量向軟腭抬起,舌尖離開下齒;雙唇收圓并用力向前突出;長音,和英音[u:]音值相同。
容易出現的錯誤:在雙唇之間發生摩擦,讀作[wu], 或如漢語的“烏”一樣。
[u]:舌身后縮,舌后部向軟腭抬起,但舌位比[u:]稍低,是[u:]的對應短音;雙唇收圓并稍稍向前突出,開口程度比[u:]略大;短音,和英音[u]相似
容易出現的錯誤:在單詞中把[u]讀得像漢語“哥”中的韻母一樣,如“good”讀作“哥的”。要注意到這個音是圓唇音。
