1. hang on 表示“等一等，等一下”

eg: Can you hang on for a minute?

譯文：你能等一會(huì)嗎?

2. wait a second / minute 表示“稍等一下”

eg: Now wait a second, you might say.

譯文：現(xiàn)在請(qǐng)等一等，你可能會(huì)說(shuō)。

eg: But wait a minute, where is the data section of this problem?

譯文:但是請(qǐng)等一下，這個(gè)問(wèn)題的數(shù)據(jù)部分在什么地方呢?

3. hold on 表示“等一下”

eg: The manager asked him to hold on while he investigated.

譯文：經(jīng)理讓他稍等一會(huì)，他去調(diào)查一下。
