不定冠詞和定冠詞
1.不定冠詞a 和an
不定冠詞a和an 表示“一(個，只，支，本……)”,放于可數名詞單數前表示“泛指”，也可表示某人或某物屬于某一種類。
a 限用于讀音為輔音開頭的單數可數名詞之前。如：a book(一本書)，a bike
(一輛自行車)等。an限用于元音讀音(a, o, e, i, u )開頭的單數可數名詞之前。如：an apple(一個蘋果)，an orange (一個橘子)，an egg(一個雞蛋)。如果該名詞前有個修飾語，則以該修飾語的第一個字母讀音是輔音還是元音而定。如：
a desk 一張課桌——an old desk 一張舊課桌——a big desk 一張大課桌

2.不定冠詞the
(1)定冠詞the 是特指，表示“這個，那個”

(2)定冠詞的用法
a. 樂器前加the。
play the piano 彈鋼琴 play the violin 拉小提琴
b. 宇宙獨一無二的東西前加the。
The earth moves around the sun. 地球繞著太陽轉。
c. 表示“方向”時加the。
the north 北方 the south 南方 the east 東方 the west 西方
d. 在固定短語中加the。
in the morning / afternoon / evening 在上午/ 下午/ 晚上
e. 再次提到上文提到過的人或物，加定冠詞the。

f. 指談話雙方都知道的人或物。
