威廉·巴特勒·葉芝(William Butler Yeats)(1865～1939)，亦譯“葉慈”、“耶茨”，愛(ài)爾蘭詩(shī)人、劇作家，著名的神秘主義者，是“愛(ài)爾蘭文藝復(fù)興運(yùn)動(dòng)”的領(lǐng)袖，也是艾比劇院(Abbey Theatre)的創(chuàng)建者之一，被詩(shī)人艾略特譽(yù)為"當(dāng)代最偉大的詩(shī)人"。葉芝對(duì)戲劇也有濃厚的興趣，先后寫過(guò)26部劇本

What do you weave with wool so white?
