A Valediction Forbidding Mourning離別辭：莫悲傷

作為玄學(xué)派大師，Donne走的是一條以形象比喻傳達(dá)思想，通過(guò)思想表達(dá)感情的新路。《離別辭：莫悲傷》是1611年作者隨羅伯特·特魯里爵士出使巴黎時(shí)，在臨行前贈(zèng)給妻子的詩(shī)。在這首詩(shī)中，Donne把夫妻關(guān)系喻為圓規(guī)兩只腳的關(guān)系。妻子是定腳，坐鎮(zhèn)中心，當(dāng)丈夫離別(即一只腳移動(dòng))時(shí)，妻子(定腳)也隨之轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)，喻夫妻雖然分離，卻彼此相連，互相支撐。只有妻子(定腳)堅(jiān)定地坐鎮(zhèn)中心，才“能使我的圓圈圓得完美”，暗示愛(ài)人的忠貞不渝才能使他一生美滿。該詩(shī)贊頌了戀人之間更深層次的精神之愛(ài)，不因分離而受到破壞。

As virtuous men pass mildly away,

And whisper to their souls to go,

Whilst some of their sad friends do say,

The breath goes now, and some say no;

正如有德行的人安詳別世，

輕聲向靈魂辭安，

悲傷的友人或傷逝，

嘆其氣絕魂離，亦有說(shuō)不然。

So let us melt, and make no noise,
